Thank you from Towcester Foodbank

A message from Christine Russell at Towcester Foodbank:

‘On behalf of the Towcester Foodbank I should like to thank the pupils, parents and staff of Nicholas Hawksmoor School for the extremely generous donation of food items collected and given to the foodbank last month. I’m not sure if you were informed of the total weight of the items donated but it came to 307.5 kg which is truly amazing.

During the course of this year the donations we have received have slowly declined so to receive such a boost to our stocks is very welcome.

Please could I ask you to convey our gratitude to all involved – it is only with support like this that we can support those in the local community who are struggling to buy food.’
