Competition Time!

Today’s assembly was all about the power of stories, as I reminded children of the BBC 500 writing competition.

I shared three stories written by former NHPS pupils for the last event that took place back in 2020. They were all very different from one another and good evidence that inside every one of us is an exciting story ready to come out.

I am so pleased to see this is back, and really hoping that as many children as possible take the opportunity to enter this fantastic competition.

And just to make things more interesting, all entries that are handed in to school will be entered into our own NHPS 500 Words competition. Both of these competitions have a deadline of Friday 10th November – plenty of time to get a cracking story written!
