Karl ‘Super’ Nova

We had an amazing assembly this morning when we were entertained by the incredibly talented Karl Nova. Poet, musician, rap artist and broadcaster, Karl kept us all spellbound with the fascinating stories from his childhood that inspired many of his poems.

Years 5 and 6 also had the opportunity to participate in poetry workshops with Karl, and enjoyed themselves so much, they didn’t want the lessons to end!

In his poetry books, his poems frequently have a description alongside them explaining what inspired him to write each piece too. Karl was an absolute star and we will certainly be asking him to return to us as the children got so much out of the visit!
