Year 6 Sikhism Assembly

Today’s assembly was led by our Year 6 pupils as they shared all they had learned from their Sikhism unit in RE this term.

All the children were involved, delivering their lines with great poise and confidence in front of their parents and our Year 4 & 5 pupils.

Inspired by the recent visit from Harkirat Singh, they shared a huge amount of detail from this major world religion; from its early foundation and development by the ten Gurus, through to modern day and the customs and symbolism of the 5 Ks.

It was incredibly informative and we were all left very impressed by the detail provided and the enthusiasm for this topic of the children.

A huge thank you to the whole Year 6 team for the work involved in putting this together. 👏
