Year 4 Science Experiment

Year 4 carried out a science experiment to find out what might happen to our teeth when left in different drinks. They put the eggshells into cups filled with water, cola, an energy drink, vinegar and orange juice.

When checked later, the results were really surprising! Some drinks made the shells change colour, go soft, lose a layer of surface or even break apart. Year 4 were shocked by what they saw, and it reminded them how important it is to brush our teeth carefully every day!!
