Year 1 Find Their Happy in First Art Lesson

Year 1 had their first proper art lesson this week, in the art room with Mrs Thomas. They started with a picture book called Find Your Happy, and then picked up paint sticks to create their own happy pictures, full of bright colours and things that make them smile.

The room was full of concentration and creativity, and the results were exactly what the lesson set out to capture: colourful, cheerful, and unmistakably Year 1. A lovely first taste of the art room for the class.
