Y1 Owl Visit

Year 1 had a wonderful visit from Dave and met his owls: Crackerjack the white faced owl and Plop the barn owl, Henry the harris hawk and Norma the hedgehog. We learnt lots of facts and he was very impressed with the outstanding vocabulary they had already learnt and remembered like talons, nocturnal and camouflage. This visit will certainly help the children with their learning this term as they will be studying ‘The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark by Jill Tomlinson.
