Y1/2 Sports Day

We have had a fantastic morning watching the next generation of Hawksmoor athletes compete in the KS1 Sports Day.

Their speed, technique and control was a sight to behold across a range of events including sprints, obstacle races, skipping, egg and spoon and the classic ‘bean bag on the head’ posture race.

It was so great to see so many parents still able to attend despite the difficulties following last week’s downpours – and a big thank you to all who participated in the parents’ egg and spoon – there was some dubious technique however!

The final results for this event were:

1st Williams 172
2nd Caterham 169
3rd McLaren 160
4th Lotus 141

These will be added to the other Sports Days and then combined with the scores from previous competitions to determine this year’s House Trophy winners on the final day of term.
