Mini-London Marathon

On Saturday 25th April 40 of our children from Y1-Y6 took part in the Mini-London Marathon. This was either a one mile run or a 2.6k run. It was a fantastic opportunity to make lifelong memories and be part of this iconic event. 20,000 children took part from around the country. As always, our children were an absolute credit to the school showing resilience, respect and enthusiasm. Many of them zoomed ahead of the accompanying adults and proudly achieved some brilliant finish times. It was a busy and hot day, but we loved having warmups with Joe Wicks and Fury and Nitro from the Gladiators, and soaking up the marathon atmosphere.
Well done Team Hawksmoor, you were amazing!
