Soaked and still smiling: football at Sponne

Our Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 children headed to Sponne this week for a football event, and the weather did its best to stop them. It was very wet.

Years 3 and 4 took part in a football festival, with plenty of drills and games. Years 5 and 6 played in a tournament against other schools in the area.

Nobody let the rain get in the way. The children gave it everything and showed real resilience and determination, and their teacher was blown away by the effort. There were warm baths and lots of washing at home that night.
