Year 3 Community Pledge

Over the last couple of days, Year Three have been busy making positive affirmation cards to hand out to people within our local community. This is part of our Year Three pledge. Half of the year group went to Waitrose and the local care home to hand the cards out and wish people a happy day. They were greatly received and we have had such positive feedback. Tomorrow we will be heading out again with the rest of the year group. It is such a wonderful experience for the children to see how rewarding it can be to ‘make someone’s day’ with a smile and kind words. They certainly made us proud today.
