Poetry & Poppies

Following on from our beautifully respected Remembrance service on Monday, children in Years 2, 3 & 4 took part in a potery and drama workshop to help them understand a little more about World War One. They all fully embraced the activities, learning lots of interesting facts and events from the Great War. It all culminated in an assembly where they presented their understanding to the other classes. A powerful and moving way to teach some of our younger children about the history of Armistice day and help to further develop their understanding.
