Platinum again: Nicholas Hawksmoor keeps its top sport award

Nicholas Hawksmoor has once again been recognised for its provision and opportunities in sport and physical activity, holding on to its Platinum School Games Mark for the fourth time.

The School Games Mark is a national award that celebrates schools for their commitment to sport, competition and keeping children active. Platinum is the highest level there is, and we’ve held it every year since it was introduced.

Behind that award is everything from everyday PE lessons to lunchtime clubs, teams and tournaments. It reflects a real commitment across the school to giving every child the chance to be active, have a go and find a sport they love.

It’s a proud moment for the whole school community, and a brilliant reward for the effort that goes into sport at Nicholas Hawksmoor all year round.
