Hawksmoor Retain County Athletics Title!

Today our district champion sportshall athletics team ventured up to Kettering to compete in the 2024 county championships, a title that they were defending from last year.

Despite this falling on the day where half of them were meant to be in Milton Keynes preparing for their Shakespeare performance, they managed to remain focused throughout, and competed spectacularly in all their expected running, jumping and throwing events.

Competition was tough, with the 15 strongest athletics teams from all corners of the county in action. It certainly felt like the standards were even higher than last year! However, our team were magnificent, with every competitor giving it their all, pushing themselves to new PBs and ultimately RETAINING OUR COUNTY TITLE!

Champions again! We are so very proud of every one of them!
