Year 2 bring the Great Fire of London to life

Year 2 spent a whole day in 1666, and they got stuck in.

The children moved around a carousel of activities. There were games and a quiz, hats to try on, gunpowder to make, spices to smell and tea to pour. Each one was a way into the story of Samuel Pepys and the Great Fire of London.

By the end of the day the children had learnt a huge amount about Pepys and the fire that changed London.
