Fireworks come to life in Mrs Taylor’s class

After some fantastic descriptive writing about fireworks, Mrs Taylor’s class decided to bring their ideas to life.

They drew colourful fireworks in chalk, peeled and placed stickers onto bonfire night pictures, and scratched their own firework designs into black paper.

It was a lot of fun, and it was doing important work too. Along the way the children built finger strength, pincer grip, hand-eye coordination and controlled movements, and they practised visual perception and concentration.
