David Attenborough Day

There has been a buzz of excitement across the school today as we celebrated the 100th Birthday of Sir David Attenborough.
We started the day with an assembly about the man himself and his achievements.
We have made mini-documentaries, nature viewfinders, terrariums and more!
Every single child has planted a seed to bring home.
Thank you to our amazing staff team for making this day so enjoyable for the children.
We couldn’t have done this without the help and support of Katie Storey and The Little Details Company who have been instrumental in sourcing and donating resources for the day (and beyond).
The Bell Plantation donated seeds, pots, fruit trees and compost. We also have strawberry and tomato plants growing across the school thanks to them!
