This morning’s assembly became a Northampton Saints tribute session following their awesome achievement on Saturday!

We watched some of the highlights, and discussed the fact that our local rugby club are league champions, and much like Manchester City in football, are at the very top of their game!

Despite not performing to their best on Saturday, they did just enough to get over the line and give club legends Courtney Lawes, Alex Waller & Lewis Ludlam a victorious send-off.

It was great to see so many rugby fans in assembly who had watched the game and quite a few were actually there at Twickenham alongside 80000 others to cheer the boys on!

And maybe a few new supporters have joined the team following this success too!
