Remembrance Day 2025

Mr Fulford was very proud of the children and the school as we gathered to pay our respects on Remembrance Day.

Our Year 6s spent the morning meeting with the mayor, some of our governors and parents and other members of our community who shared their knowledge and families experiences of the armed services, the brave people who gave their lives to help others. The children also shared the poems that they had written following their learning about the world wars.

We then gathered on our turning circle to hear the Last Post performed by one of our former pupils Adam, and then observed a 2 minute silence as a whole school and heard In Flanders’ Field and additional poems written and read by some of our Year 6s.
